The box Max sold me at the National wasn't just vintage hockey cards. There were also some baseball cards in there. Most of the baseball cards were from 1973 and 1974, and since I didn't have many 74s, the box came in handy. I did find this Bob Montgomery, and when paired with the 1972 and 1973 Topps (below) cards that I got in my lot from Conrad, I was ready to send TTM to him.
Montgomery (b. 1944) played in the majors from 1970 to 1979 for the Red Sox. He had 306 hits, 23 home runs and a .258 batting average.
I mailed to Montgomery on October 4 and got the cards back on October 11, for a 7-day TAT.
