TTM Success - Dal Maxvill

I added a signed 1966 Topps card to my collection when I received this card from Dal Maxvill on May 6.  I had mailed it off on March 11, which means I waited 56 days to get it back.  I'm glad I did, because it made only the second 1966 Topps card that I have gotten back so far.

Maxvill (b. 1939) played in the majors from 1962 to 1975 for the Cardinals, A's and Pirates.  He had 748 hits, 6 home runs and a .217 batting average.  He was a Gold Glove Award winner in 1968.  That same year, he made his only appearance in the NL MVP voting, when he finished 20th.  He also won three World Series, 1964 with the Cardinals, 1967 with the Cardinals, and 1974 with the A's.
