Jim Thome finally collected his 600th home run tonight. I'm really glad he reached that plateau. He became the eighth player in history to reach the 600 mark. I was almost able to get Thome's autograph last year in Baltimore, but he wasn't signing. I was able to talk to him, though. He's a real classy guy.
I hope this erases any doubt that he will get into the Hall of Fame once he retires. Thome has always been a great player.
