Frank Baumholtz (b. 1918 - d. 1997) played in the majors from 1947 to 1949 and 1951 to 1957 for the Reds, Cubs and Phillies. He was also a standout basketball player for the University of Ohio where his jersey number was the first one retired at that school.(DECEASED 91)
