Bunky Stewart (b. 1931 - d. 2007) played in the majors from 1952 to 1956 for the Senators. He retired with a record of 5-11, 77 strikeouts and an ERA of 6.01. Stewart was from New Bern, NC and was a graduate of East Carolina University. I live maybe 10 minutes from there. Always cool to see a local alum who made it to the big time.(DECEASED 75)
