Jack Harshman (b. 1927) played in the majors during the 1948, 1950 and 1952-1960 seasons for the Giants, White Sox, Orioles, Red Sox and Indians. He bagan his career as a batter before he became an accomplished pitcher. His batting stats were 76 hits, 21 home runs, and a .179 bating average over 10 seasons. His pitching line was 69-65, 741 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.50.
