1955 Topps #41 - Chuck Stobbs


Chuck Stobbs (b. 1929 - d. 2008) pitched in the majors from 1947 to 1961 for the Red Sox, White Sox, Senators, Cardinals and Twins. He ended his career with a record of 107-130, a 4.29 ERA and 897 strikeouts. He was the youngest player in baseball in 1947, playing as a 17-18-year old.
