one of the big 3 rookies out of the way...
That's right, I knocked one of the big 3 rookie cards from my 1955 set ut of the way. I got the Harmon Killebrew RC off of ebay a few days ago and it came in the mail today... Its a pretty sweet looking card. I doubt I'll be filing any entries in the near future about getting my hands on the other 2 big RC's (Clemente and Koufax).
That's pretty frickin' awesome. I'm a big fan of Killebrew and I've thought of collecting all of his regular issue Topps cards. I have his 1960 Topps card as well as a few others. I don't know why but him and Al Kaline have always interested me as a collector.

ReplyDeleteI'm cool with Pie, I'm sure he's going to get the same treatment that Adam Jones got last year; and will benefit from it. I'm really happy with the Killebrew i got, his RCs are going pretty cheap on ebay, you should try to pick it up. There's a sweet Roberts/Markakis/Brooks Robinson triple threads i have my eye on...
