The rest of the 1970's I got this week.

Here are the other 4 1970's I got this week. Its always nice to come home on Friday and have a pile of mail waiting for me. Not only did I get these 1970's. but i also got 5 Topps Red Hot Rookie redemptions. I'm sure you saw my previous post about the train wreck that was the packaging my Colin Balester was received in. Luckily, I was able to extract the card from the top loader, and it is ok. The actual top loader had MELTED. What the hell are they doing over there at the post office? I mean really, come on. Oh, well. I dodged a bullet on that one...

Even more 1970 topps

Got 5 more 1970 Topps in. Thanks to Steve from wait-til-next-year for this Catfish Hunter. Now that I am working out of the Greenville office, I have been driving in and around Hertford where Catfish was from. Pretty cool.

Ridiculocity at its finest...

I got this Red Hot Rookie Redemption today and am pretty pissed off... Totally trashed. It takes a lot to crack a top loader... totally ridiculous. Add this to how long it took to get them... Gaaahhh.

3 More 1970 Topps

I would like to thank Jim for sending me these really nice 1970 Topps. He has been halping me find the semi-high ans high numbers for this set. I have a lot of the heavy hitters out of the way, but getting all of the high numbers is going to be an expensive chore. Having a trading partner really helps out a lot. I wish I had someone hooking me up with 1955's, haha. Anyway, thats what i miss the most about the card shop; The cool people I met there. I have done a pretty good job keeping in touch though.

2009 Topps Heritage

I picked up a few packs of 2009 Topps Heritage today. I like the design, the 1960 set is a good one. The thing that sucks is, I bought 4 packs and didn't get a single Oriole. Oh well. I'm not going to work on ths set yet, I think the first Heritage Set I do will be either the 1955 or 1957 designs... We'll see later on...

With all the focus on my 1955 set...

I managed to pick up some 1970's today while riding around with Christopher. I have been kind of neglecting this set while I've been knocking out the big names from my 1955 set. Once those two are done, I'm not too sure where i will go next, most likely 1959 and 1972... We'll see. Maybe I'll do a poll later on...??
